Discover the Exceptional Teas of Southeast Asia
Although handcrafted with the same care and precision as teas from China or Japan, Southeast Asian teas don’t get the same recognition. Rishi Tea & Botanicals is on a mission to change that. We’ve fallen in love with the vibrant energy of the wild tea trees from Laos and the distinct floral flavors of Thai black tea and Ruby oolongs. Southeast Asian herbal teas create infusions of electrifying colors with bold and exciting flavors. Our most popular powdered tea mixes also come from this region of the world. It’s time to discover your new favorite tea origin.
How to Use/Brew Southeast Asian Teas
Many people have migrated to Southeast Asia over the years, and each group has brought a different style of making tea. From highly oxidized oolongs that require rinsing and are best brewed in a Gaiwan or Gongfu teapot to pressed vintage tea cakes that can be infused multiple times, each tea is slightly different. We encourage getting creative with our Southeast Asian herbal teas, which make refreshing iced teas and cocktails.
