Brew Exceptional Tea With Organic Tea Bags

You deserve to enjoy the best cup of tea whether you’re at home or on-the-go. Many of our aromatic and flavorful loose leaf teas are available in biodegradable tea sachets, making it simple to brew your favorite tea or tea blend. Stock up your office or keep them around for travel. Our pyramid-shaped tea bags make it easy to enjoy a delicious cup of tea, maintaining the delicate nuance and aromas that our teas are celebrated for.

How to Use Tea Sachets

Our organic tea bags are simple to use, and each individual tea will have a suggested brew time based on the tea you are brewing. In general, however, we suggest steeping one sachet with 8 ounces of boiling water. Most teas should be steeped for 3 to 4 minutes, depending on how delicate they are. For larger mugs or tea pots, we suggest adding more bags to the ratio.

Our organic tea bags are made from plant-based PLA, which is an inert, non-petroleum plastic that easily biodegrades in commercial composting systems. At Rishi Tea & Botanicals, we are dedicated to sustainability in the tea industry which means protecting the farms our ingredients come from and doing our best to reduce our environmental impact.

Don’t worry! If you don’t see the tea you’re looking for in this collection, purchase it loose and grab some tea filters to steep it easily with minimal cleanup.

Since our tea bags come in secondary packaging like an overwrap, they don’t require much care. Keep them in a cool, dry place like your pantry or cupboard. If you wish to move them into a tea storage tin, the overwraps will protect them from moisture and air, but choose an option to protect from sunlight.

Like all food products, tea bags do have an expiration date. While older tea bags may not be harmful to drink, they may not taste as good over time. By properly storing tea bags to keep them from light, heat, air and moisture, you can extend the shelf life of your tea.
