How to Brew Minty Teas

This selection of fresh tasting teas will shine best when brewed delicately and lightly. Mint is a bright flavor, and can sometimes develop an astringent flavor when dried mint is brewed too long. As such, we suggest brewing 2 tablespoons of loose leaf tea (or one tea sachet) with 8 ounces of hot water, for 2 to 3 minutes.

To brew these as iced teas, we suggest using more tea and extending your brew time for 1 or 2 extra minutes before pouring over a cup of ice. Brewing for longer will help keep the flavor from getting as diluted with the ice.
