Rishi Tea’s turmeric ginger and turmeric itself are of a rare quality due to the selection process ands countries of origin where we source turmeric. The roots we select have pharmaceutical grade levels of curcumin and active aromatic compounds. We seek red turmeric roots with deep and saturated infusions, pungent flavors and complex aromatic character. Not all turmeric meets our standards and not all regions can produce enough of the quality that we need for our blends so we sourced from multiple areas notes for premium quality.
